From the city up the mountain in no time at all
Brixen’s local mountain, Mt Plose, is an inviting destination for nature fans and active holidaymakers in both summer and winter. An extensive network of well-marked hiking paths, bike trails, the Brixen Bikepark for adrenaline junkies, almost 44 kilometres of ski slopes, and a 360° view await you here. The valley station of the Plose lift is located just 10 kilometres away from our city hotel in Brixen.

Summer in Brixen means: leisurely strolls and shopping tours through the picturesque old town, long walks to huts that serve classic South Tyrolean dishes, thrilling bike tours, and fun in the water at the outdoor pools. The fresh air high in the mountains and the pleasantly mild summer breeze feel especially good – and the vibrant sunset over the rooftops of Brixen is a real feast for the eyes, which you can admire from our rooftop terrace.

Winter in Brixen is clad in sparkling white: There are so many ways to spend your free time. Winter hikes, tobogganing, skiing, snowboarding, ski touring … the list goes on. After an exciting day in the mountains, warm yourself up with a fragrant mulled wine or hot chocolate and enjoy the romantic vibes while strolling through Brixen Christmas market.
